Over the past decade, ever-changing regulations coupled with the increasing severity of penalties have made compliance a critical function in healthcare organizations. As a result, recruiting and retaining a high-level compliance team has become a top priority.

As a healthcare lawyer and a former compliance officer for a major healthcare system, as well as First Deputy of the New York State Office of the Medicaid Inspector General, I have devoted my career to addressing the compliance needs of healthcare entities, including helping clients build high-level compliance functions. The increasing demand for compliance services prompted me to launch Compliance Connections to provide a fuller range of recruitment, mentoring, training and development services to healthcare organizations, while also helping my network of compliance colleagues find roles where they can deliver value and thrive.
